I turn unclear problems
into practical systems.

By building, failing, and iterating until reality, not excitement, decides what deserves to grow. I work across cloud systems, software engineering, and applied AI, and I'm most engaged when I can see the whole picture: the person, the workflow, the technology, and the reason the thing should exist.

// about

Who I am

My path has been shaped by learning through action. I've often entered projects without knowing every technology involved, then learned what the problem demanded through building, experimentation, failure, and iteration. That's made me resourceful, comfortable with uncertainty, and willing to take responsibility for filling the gaps in my own knowledge.

I'm particularly drawn to situations where people have access to large amounts of information but lack a clear way to turn it into a useful decision. I care about cloud systems, automation, and applied AI, and about products that make complicated processes easier to understand or execute.

I'm ambitious, but I try to stay honest about where I am. I don't want to present myself as someone who has already solved everything. I want to be known as someone who asks serious questions, learns quickly, builds persistently, and improves through evidence. Longer term, I want to build a company of my own, and use that to support the people who've helped me and reach communities often left behind by technical progress.

  • 01 Question the assumption.
  • 02 Understand the real problem.
  • 03 Build the smallest useful solution.
  • 04 Let reality decide what grows.

  1. Independent AI Evaluator · Contract

    Mercor · Remote · Jan 2026 - Present

I audit multi-turn AI responses and tool-use trajectories for a leading AI lab against evidence-based rubrics, diagnosing failures in reasoning, tool selection, grounding, and instruction-adherence. I also refine evaluation rubrics and reference responses to keep quality decisions consistent across a distributed, asynchronous review team.

  2. Associate Consultant, Software Engineering

    Kiya.ai · Pune, India · Jul 2022 - Aug 2024

My engineering career began in fintech, on banking and anti-money-laundering products, where code has to stay reliable long after it's deployed. I designed and delivered production REST APIs in Java and Spring Boot, tuned SQL and indexes, automated Maven builds and CI/CD, and owned production incidents from triage through root-cause and verification.

Projects

Each of these started as a problem worth solving. I've framed them the way I think about work: the problem, the approach, and what actually came out of it.

Automated Emissions Calculation System

MSc Industrial Project · Distinction · Apr 2025 - Aug 2025

Problem
An industrial client ran years of carbon reporting through fragile manual Excel workflows: hard to trust, hard to trace, hard to repeat.
Approach
Built a cloud-native platform with modular service and storage layers, automated emissions-factor ingestion, Scope 1 & Scope 2 CO₂e calculations, audit trails, and scheduled factor updates. Used AI-assisted development to explore unfamiliar cloud tech faster, then manually reviewed every generated change and validated calculations against independent results.
Outcome
Containerised with Docker and deployed to Azure Kubernetes Service via GitHub Actions, giving the client a working cloud endpoint. Validated APIs and performance with Postman and Locust through weekly client reviews.

Ticket Booking Platform

Microservices · Dec 2024 - Feb 2025

Problem
A booking system needs clear separation of responsibilities so each part can grow and deploy on its own.
Approach
Built independently deployable User, Ticket, and Booking services in Java and Spring Boot, with REST APIs designed around clean service boundaries.
Outcome
Containerised the services and deployed to Azure Kubernetes Service, demonstrating a functioning cloud endpoint and a complete booking workflow.

Distributed Storage & Load-Balancing System

Distributed Systems · Oct 2024 - Jan 2025

Problem
How do you distribute files securely across independent nodes while balancing load and surviving failures?
Approach
Built a distributed file-storage simulation with encrypted file chunking, storage-node allocation, custom scheduling and load-balancing logic, chunk retrieval, and file reconstruction, plus a JavaFX interface for monitoring activity.
Outcome
A working simulation of secure distribution, workload balancing, and recovery across independently running storage nodes.

iRebinWeWin

Bentley iTwin4Good · Highly Commended · Jun 2025

Problem
Local recycling information is often invisible or confusing, which weakens community participation.
Approach
In a three-person team, developed a digital-twin concept to make local recycling information more visible, prototyped with Bentley iTwin technologies in Python.
Outcome
Presented the solution to industry reviewers at the programme finals and was Highly Commended.

Let's build something worth building.

I value people who are direct, reliable, and curious. If that's you, I'd like to hear from you, whether it's a role, a project, or a serious question.
